Bedtime stories with Grandma

How do you handle bedtime stories with grandma when she’s across the country? Be There Bedtime Stories saved the day! They sent me a few story credits to my mom could read stories to the kids this week!
Be There Bedtime Stories

Be There Bedtime Stories connects families separated by distance through bedtime stories from the web. If you have a webcam or an iPad you can read one of over 250 ebooks to a child near or far away. It’s saved digitally so they can view it over and over again. This is perfect for our family! My mom lives on the other side of the country, so she doesn’t see the grandkids as often as she’d like. We do Facetime, but the timing isn’t always convenient. Bedtime stories with grandma is possible with Be There Bedtime Stories!

Now, my mom is pretty tech-savvy so she had no problems setting up an account and navigating the Be There Bedtime Stories website. She pointed out though, that some people might need more detailed step-by-step instructions to help guide them through the process.

Be There Bedtime Stories - How It Works

My mom loved reading the stories for Sebby & Quincy. She engaged them in the story by mentioning their names and engaging them. In fact, she’s probably going to read more books for their virtual bookshelf! Alan’s mom will be here tomorrow and we’re going to have her read a story too! I love that even when they aren’t here in Seattle, my kids can still have bedtime stories with grandma thanks to Be There Bedtime Stories!

Bedtime Stories with Grandma

It’s so simple, and Sebby and Quincy LOVED it. They listened to two stories last night, and wanted more. (Mom if you’re reading this, maybe you should read some more stories for them)
