Mondays are always crazy around here, it’s back to work and school after the weekend, and things tend to be a bet chaotic. That being said, it’s still simple to have a delicious meal for dinner, despite all the rush.
I got a text from my husband this morning that he would be home later than usual. This means I need to also have an easy dinner that’s ready when he walks in the door tonight, so we can eat right away and get the kids to bed on time.
I’m already a big fan of Bertolli, and I found out that they have added a soup their line of restaurant-quality line of frozen meals. So off to the store I went. Not only did they have 4 delicious varieties to choose from, but if I bought two I also got FREE ice cream. Now if that’s not a win, I don’t know what is. Dinner AND dessert in one fell swoop! There are several varieties to choose from, and believe me, it wasn’t an easy choice by any means.
See what I mean? Don’t they all look incredible? I’m a traditional girl though, so I went with the Chicken Minestrone.
What’s really incredible is that Bertolli Meal Soups can be prepared in about 10 minutes! Lucky for me, a grilled cheese sandwich takes about the same time, so out came the cast iron grill pan and panini press. I even bought special herbed butter! I shuttled the kids off to bed and made my husband and I a simple and delicious meal.
The Chicken Minestrone was sooo good. It had a delightful flavor with just the right amount of spicy. I’ll be adding this to my shopping cart again for sure.
Thanks to Bertolli Meal Soups we had a great dinner. Simple touches like the herbed butter made the grilled cheese extra special, and to be honest, so did feeding the kids separately so we could enjoy the savory soup. Serving dinner on a tray with linens instead of at the table spices things up a little too. Did I mention the ice cream for dessert?
