Earlier this week, I picked my mom up from the train station. She comes to visit about twice a year to visit. This time it just happens to be over Mother’s Day weekend, and my birthday next week. When Mom comes to Seattle, going to Starbucks is one of our traditions. Okay, so I’ll be honest, we go the Starbucks in the local Target, often with at least one of my kids in tow for a little treat and some shopping.
Mom and I both love chai. Iced, hot, doesn’t seem to matter, we love it. It’s almost a staple drink for us. So when Starbucks partnered with Teavana to launch the new Oprah Chai, I new I had to take Mom to Starbucks to try it.
Starbucks app in hand, I treated my mom to a cup of Teavana Oprah Chai. Wasn’t that nice of me?
It as great to spend time with my mom and try the new chai. And let me tell you, it was REALLY good. The Teavana Oprah Chai has a wonderful spicy undertone without being to over the top. Over the first few days of her visit, we actually stopped and got some as a quick pick me up (before shopping of course) because it was so tasty. The chai is a . black and rooibos loose-leaf tea blended with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and cloves. Much like my favorite Indian dishes.
Available as both a handcrafted latte or loose leaf tea to brew at home, Starbucks will be making a donation for each Teavana Oprah Chai product sold to benefit educational opportunities for youth through the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation. Visit www.SteepYourSoul.com to learn more about the new Teavana Oprah Chai and the youth education organizations that will be supported through this partnership.
And tomorrow, you can treat your Mom to a Teavana Oprah Chai with a special offer because this Mother’s Day, Starbucks will be offering a Buy One Get One Free Teavana Oprah Chai Tea beverage!
