You might remember my letter to Stevie Joy, just before before Mother’s Day. Stevie Joy is the daughter of my dear friend Kristin, who I met in an online mommy group. Stevie Joy was born still at 26 weeks, and out of her passing, Faces of Loss, Faces of Hope was born.
Faces of Loss, Faces of Hope is this amazing community for parents to support each other and put a face on miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss.
Not so long ago, they applied for non-profit status. On Tuesday, May 31, 2011, they received the letter letting them know that Faces Of Loss, Faces Of Hope’s 501c3 application was APPROVED! They are officially a national tax-exempt charity, and any donations made since September 7th, 2010 are tax-deductible!
I’m so proud of the work they’ve done and their unwavering dedication.
If you or someone you know has lost a child, please know that you can find support with Faces of Loss, Faces of Hope.
