It looks like summer is finally here in Seattle, which means, if you haven’t already, it’s time to start thinking about sun protection. Not just for us, but our kiddos. Sun protection is more than just sunscreen (Ask your pediatrician about what is best for your child) but also about wearing the right clothes. It’s easier for adults, we know to keep hats on, wear long sleeves etc.
But what about our infants and toddlers?
The SummerMuff is made from custom-made certified UPF50 fabric that is treated with minerals to block more than 90% of the sun’s harmful UVA/UVB rays. Both the top and bottom layers of the muff are made from organic cotton that allow air to get through to baby’s skin but also block the sun’s harmful rays and keep her cool and soft.
The SummerMuff comes in two sizes and fits over many stroller and car seats. One of the things I really love about it is it is designed not only to keep your little one covered but they can’t kick it off either. Sun protection AND no lost blankets – a total bonus in my book!
