Since I am playing catch up for NaBloPoMo, I better get a move on….

If you knew that whatever you ate next would be your last meal, what would you want it to be?

Wow this is actually a hard one…

Is the meal shared? Am I eating alone? Do I have time to savor it or do I have to devour it in 5 minutes? I think either way I would head to my favorite restaurant.

Taste of India

The way the spices in Indian curries mingle delight my palate. The savory sauces over the chunks of paneer that melt in my mouth. How at first the heat is just from the temperature of the plate but it slowly warms my belly.

I love how the butter on the garlic naan glides over my fingers – enough to add delicious flavor but not so much that they feel greasy.

Oh and the chai, the bottomless chai. I swear they put drugs in it, at least at the Indian restaurant we go to. So good.

And lastly, I would savor every single bite of that Gulab jamun. Delightful balls of dough, fried in sugar syrup. Dusted with coconut.

Ahh… just writing about it makes me hungry.

If I go have Indian food tonight, it won’t be my last meal, will it?
