Making kid and baby friendly food shouldn’t be a hassle. Storage shouldn’t be either. Or transporting it.
So when I was offered a chance to review the new Fresh Starts line, as soon as I saw the collection on their website, I was eager to try it. When I received the box of goodies, I was really excited. First of all, the photos on the website don’t do them justice. The food storage containers are really really cool.
Here’s what was in the box:
(1) Food Prep Container
(1) Food Mill
(1) 1 Cup Chilled Container Set of 4
(1) 2 Cup Chilled Container Set or 4
(1) Chilled Travel Bowl
(1) Meal on the Go
(1) Chilled Snack Container
This system is smart. My favorite thing is that I can prepare, store and serve from the same container. No extra washing. Perfect for on the go. There are built in ice packs so snacks and food stays fresh. Another bonus. (As long as I remember to chill them, hehe) The containers are stackable too, so I can make several things and just put them in the frig for later. Awesome. I am lucky enough to have children without food allergies, but I imagine for moms that do, Fresh Starts is a life saver (literally) because it makes it so easy to bring your own food along.
What’s super awesome is that the prep containers are interchangeable with the storage containers, so if I want to use the julienne slicer I can simply remove the cutting tool when I am done and replace it with a chilled lid, toss it in my bag and I am good to go! The Fresh Starts line really takes the hassle out of food preparation for babies and children.
Have a toddler and a baby? Use the steamer to cook and soften veggies for your todder, and then use the food mill to puree them for your baby, not extra containers needed! How convenient ! LOVE.
Fresh Starts containers are recyclable and BPA Free too!
You can find Fresh Starts containers at Babies R Us.
