For as long as I can remember, I've known about Miracle-Gro to help give extra love to both yard and potted plants. Now that we're overhauling our yard, I've been stalking Pinterest for fun garden projects that are easy for me to tackle. My thumb is sort of green, but I'm just as concerned with actually having the TIME to complete a project too!
Miracle Gro wants people to know that gardening doesn't have to be complicated, so they've come up with The Gro Project.

I've started a few projects of my own, includng about 8 half barrels in my side yard full of happy vegetables planted in Moisture Control Potting Mix. I am hoping that having the veggies in the planters will keep the bunnies and squirrels from totally obliterating them. Fingers crossed, right?
One of the other reasons I really love gardening in containers is it allows me to control my soil. Whether using a product like Shake’n Feed All Purpose Plant Food from Miracle Gro on my flowers or their organic soils for my veggies, I can control what goes in. This means I can control (Sort of, ha) weeds from contaminated soils or unwanted chemicals too. I'm thankful Miracle Gro has something to fit all of my gardening needs.
The only problem is my idea list for gardenig projects is getting out of control thanks to The Gro Project. Luckily I have a nice big yard with lots of space! 🙂
Be sure to join me in the gardening fun and “follow” the Miracle-Gro Pinterest page and check it out for lots of fun garden projects! If you already have some things pinned from your own garden, I'd love if you shared your ideas with me!
What sort of gardening projects do you have planned for this summer?
