Get your needles and Knit Outta the Box!

Holiday Gift Guide Picks – For the Knitter or the Texter

When my goodies from Knit Outta the Box arrived, I quickly opened up the package and slid the soft alpaca iMitts on my hands. The first thing I noticed were the nice long cuffs. Being someone with “Monkey Arms” I can really appreciate longer cuffs on mittens and gloves. No cold air or snow is going to get to me this winter!

The iMitt is hand-knit by a woman’s cooperative, high in the Andean Mountains of South America All of the Alpaca yarn used in the iMitts is hand spun and hand dyed, using only natural dyes. Known for its durability and warmth, tt’s sourced right from the region where the women live. This is a great product that promotes “mommies helping mommies.”  They have it hand-knit by a woman’s cooperative in Bolivia. Every sale they make goes to helping these women reach their goal of financial independence. Did I mention it comes wrapped in a cute bag with a Knit Outta the Box sticker? Love.

Your texting digits will never be cold again. 🙂

Now that your hands are warmed up, it’s time to break your Earbud Cozy Knitting Kit and end the tangled iPhone earbud cords for good. If you can knit, purl and do basic shaping, you can make these. I promise. This isn’t your grandmother’s sweater pattern. You can handle this. The Earbud Cozy Knitting Kit makes the perfect gift for your cousin, bff or nanny, because it comes in a nice cloth gift bag with everything you need, including the needles. Awesome. 🙂

Knit Outta The Box has lots of great kits, patterns, yarn and more to choose from – it will be easy to cross several gifts off your list in one stop.

Be sure to check out the 12 Days of Gifts Galore for your chance to win the gifts featured in this post.

  2. Vanessa Kowalski says:

These are adorable, and I love the look of those iMitts! I have a pair of fingerless gloves/mittens that I currently use, but I like being able to only expose the thumb and forefinger, less frozen digits. 😉

  3. Oooooo! I want!
