Getting around #BlogHer11 with Gathering Point @pointtweets

I’m so excited to share GatheringPoint‘s Community Map with you!

GatheringPoint bridges silos of information as diverse as Google, Yahoo, Yellow Pages, Yelp, YouTube, Wikipedia, events sources, news sources, weather, traffic, Groupon, Facebook, Foursquare, Twitter, USGS, EPA, and others.

As I write, the team at GatheringPoint is updating the San Diego map shown below with BlogHer ’11 events, parties, hotels and more!

Want to know if your Bloggy Best Friend is at the Cheap Sally Party? Or maybe the Social Soiree? Facebook and Foursquare Check-ins for BlogHer’11 will show up on this map if you enable them by selecting “Click for more options…” on the map, then turn them on in the “social” tab. I don’t know about you, but GatheringPoint is going to save me at BlogHer with all the party hopping I’m going to be doing! 🙂

Can you imagine the Tweet clouds during BlogHer ’11? You’ll be able to see them on GatheringPoint!

Want to make sure your event is on the map, email me at and put “GatheringPoint BlogHer Event” in the subject line!

GatheringPoint goes beyond BlogHer! Showcase deals specific to your area, events and more!

Exclusive to BlogHer ’11 attendees, I have been given to offer a special opportunity for a limited number of Qualified Bloggers  to have GatheringPoint on the blogs.
