I’m going to Disney Social Media Moms Celebration 2014

Disney Social Media Moms

This past week I got an email. Some bloggers would call it THE EMAIL. The one that invites you to Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. I about fell over. I think I may have squeeed. See, Disney Social Media Moms is one of those amazing opportunities you don’t apply for. In fact, no one really knows HOW you get chosen. It just HAPPENS. Like Pixie Dust.

Only Edison and I are headed to Disneyland in April. So I can fully concentrate on the conference, I’m taking some family friends to help with him while my big kids stay home. (Shh don’t tell them.) Before you scream about not fair – we JUST went to Disneyland in January for Sebby’s birthday. They’ll be okay.

Who else is going?

As soon as I got my invite, I hopped onto the #DisneySocialMediaMoms stream on Twitter to see who else was going. I was really excited to see some of my favorite bloggers – including some I haven’t had the chance to meet. And the best part? Since only about 200 bloggers and their families will be in attendance, there is a pretty good chance I will see my friends, which is just really wonderful.

Check out some of the magical moments that happened at LAST YEARS Disney Social Media Moms Celebration!

I couldn’t be more honored to be invited to this blog conference. It’s been something I’ve been hopeful for the past few years. So thank you thank you !

Any advice?

Since it’s my first time attending the conference, do you have any advice? I’d love suggestions from people who have attended it in the past!

Follow my adventure

Please follow along on my adventure by stalking me on social media. I’ll be sharing pics through Instagram and Twitter. You can also follow along using  #DisneySMMoms to search on social media.
Please note: This is NOT a sponsored post. I am not required to write about my experiences at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration.  I paid for a conference pass that provides admission to the conference and the hotel and park passes at a reduced rate.

  1. I have no advice for you, I have never gone, I have never been to a blog conference. This one sounds like it will be a blast. All I can suggest is have a ball you lucky lady!

  2. I am just a little bit jealous – or maybe A LOT!

  3. Michele P says:

congrats! that sounds like SO much fun, and I am sure you will be keeping us all up to date on what’s happening during the conference in your down time as well as enjoying yourself of course. I’ve never been to a conference, but I really enjoy reading about the others that have been.

  4. This is SO exciting! You’re going to have such an amazing time!
