Maclaren Techno Carrier

In addition to their stunning buggys, Maclaren also makes baby carriers. We recently had the chance to review their Techno Carrier.

Features of the Techno Carrier include:

· Coordinates with the Techno XLR range (buggy)

· Special, padded removable pod insert for the smallest of infants

· Unique one-hand, quick release buckles

· Secondary, colour–coded restraint for added security

· Centered shoulder and back harness distributes weight evenly, relieving your back

· Removable bottle holder and shade blanket/bib

Appropriate From

· 8–12 lb

· 12–25 lb without pod insert

What we loved:

It’s competitively priced with other similar carriers on the market.

There are several stylish color combinations to choose from.

The carrier worked well for our newborns, the pod is a nice touch in helping them be safe and snug.

It’s a great solution for when you are places where a buggy just isn’t an option – the security line at the airport, festivals or other crowded areas.

It’s a very clean, smart looking carrier.

The outer fabric is durable and the carrier feels secure.

The removable newborn pod makes it adaptable for your growing child.

Things we didn’t love:

It might not be comfy for a larger baby, even one within the weight limits.

It’s harder to put on than it looks, it took a few moments to adjust the straps so they fit comfortably – it’s definitely not a grab and go carrier!

The detachable dribble bib and bottle holder are useful extras, but be aware that you can’t have both attached at the same time.

You can’t throw it in the washer machine, a minus for a baby item!
