We're going to make reading fun with FREE books from Kelllogg's! It's as easy as entering codes online! #Back2SchoolReady AD

I can’t believe summer is halfway over and before I know it the kids will be headed back to school with their friends! Quincy will be starting kindergarten and Sebby will be in second grade. It’s time to start the habits and routines now like eating a good breakfast and how to make reading fun.

The kids love Eggo® Waffles and cereal too, so it’s pretty easy to get them to sit down for breakfast. When I was a kid, I used to spend my breakfast reading the cereal box. Now that I’m a parent, I’m looking for other ways to make reading fun and sometimes we read books at breakfast or the kids look at their own books.

One of the keys to make reading fun is to always have books around. And we do. If the kids are anything like me, the day will come when they’ve read everything they can get their hands on, two or three times. I’ve been a reader and a snacker as long as I can remember, so this new promotion from Kellogg’s is really cool!

Kellogg’s is giving away Scholastic books! Reading is really important to our family, and we’re excited to add to our library. There are over 80 books to choose from in different genres and reading levels.

Make Reading Fun at School!

It’s important to me that the kids know the importance of sharing and giving back to the community, that’s why when school starts Sebby and Quincy will be taking some of the Scholastic books they receive, along with some snacks to share with their classmates. There school has a really cool reading program, where they assign lower and upper grades to read to each other. We’re making cute canvas tote bags with artwork by Quincy (and hopefully Sebby too) to put the books in, along with a some yummy snacks (that come with book codes of course!) I’m really excited about this reading program because the Free Book codes are on so many products we already buy, so I’m going to be able to get lots of books for home and their classrooms!

We decorated a totebag for our Scholastic Books to share with our friends at school! #Back2SchoolReady AD

Are you as excited as I am about Kellogg’s offer? You can redeem your FREE BOOKS until 9/11/15!
