Once again, Monroe and Main has added style and flair to my wardrobe. It’s only February, and while it’s dumping snow in many parts of the country, we’re already seeing signs of spring in Seattle. I’m not just talking about the bulbs peaking up in my front yard. Thanks to Monroe and Main I have a gorgeous striped sweater (and you all know how I love my sweaters) and a cheery new handbag!

As a busy mom, it’s important to me that I have clothing that I can look great in whether I’m wrangling the kids or out on a date with my husband or shopping with a girlfriend. The Monroe and Main spring catalog didn’t let me down! It was so hard to choose pieces that would complement my existing wardrobe but when I saw the Stripe it it to Me sweater I knew it was a winner.

The hooded striped sweater I chose from Monroe and Main is made from 100% cotton. I ordered a small thinking with the style it would be a bit loose, and I was right. It fits great over a regular t-shirt or tank.

I probably should have ordered a medium so the sleeves would be a bit longer. I’m 5’6, which I consider an average height, but I also have longish arms. Other than the sleeves the fit is great for me and I love how it looks with my favorite skinny jeans and red shoes. Once the weather warms up I’m going to be rocking this sweater with my capris too.
