When I first heard through the grapevine about the Britax B-Ready, I knew I wanted to check it out first hand. I was in the market for a double since I was expecting, and since the B-Ready is a single AND a double stroller, it was certainly fitting the bill! I also fully admit that I wanted to try it because I’m a stroller junkie. Ask my husband, he’ll tell you. But once you hear about it, you’ll understand my love affair with the B-Ready.
The BRITAX B-READY is a full-size, modular stroller capable of growing with your family. The B-READY can accommodate multiple combinations of infant car seats, a bassinet, or dual toddler seats to create an in-line double stroller.
After coveting it for MONTHS, I finally got my hands on a B-Ready when I arrived in Las Vegas for the ABC Kids Expo. I think I pushed it around for less than an hour and I knew it was love. The B-Ready was a dream to push (usually one handed) and maneuver through the trade show. Crowded monorail? Not a problem. Las Vegas Casinos? The Strip? Piece of cake. Now my B-Ready strolls the neighborhoods of Seattle with ease.
Since I picked up my B-Ready from Britax, I didn’t’ get a chance to read the manual and had a crash course in how to install (and remove) the Chaperone infant carrier (adaptors make this so easy), how to engage the brake (step on the brake and it turns red, step again and it turns green so you know you’re ready to go.) and of course – what’s always a deal breaker in my book – the fold. Oooh let me tell you this stroller folds like a dream. It’s super simple with an Automatic Chassis lock, so it stays folded.
Did I mention the unbelievable storage? Britax is smart too, you can access the shopping basket from all four sides. That’s just genius (and good for me since I kept burying the diaper bag) There’s also a cup holder – something that has been lacking in a lot of the strollers I’ve driven.
I love all the configurations, http://www.britaxusa.com/strollers/b-ready-configurations even though I haven’t tried them yet, but I’m going to say, after seeing them all set in person, this is the perfect stroller for most mamas and papas. You can even use it with two carseats. Or two bassinets. Or a carseat and a bassinet. Or a regular seat and a carseat… You get the picture. FLEXIBLE.

This luxury stroller is retailed at $499, the second seat option will set you back another $149 – But then it will be the only stroller you will need, which makes it a deal. The flexibility of this stroller makes it the ideal addition to your baby shower registry, or holiday wish list.
We had the chance to try out the 2nd seat, and with my sturdy 3 year old it’s pretty clear that he’d be happier up front with the lower infant seat adaptor. That being said, the 2nd seat is so easy to install and take this amazing set of wheels to a fully functional double stoller.
I’m in love with the B-Ready, and I can’t wait to maximize it to it’s full potential.
Disclosure: Britax provided me a stroller for the purpose of this review. I was not compensated for this post and the opinions state here are my own.
