Scoby? What? I don’t have time to brew my own Kombucha no matter how good it is for me. I just don’t. If that’s your thing, that’s totally cool, but I’m going to just pick up the new O Organics Kombucha at my local Safeway. Let’s be perfectly honest, with 3 kids, making it to Safeway is a feat in itself. Seriously.
Kombucha is reported to have originated around 5,000 years ago in China, but the name “Kombucha” is traced to 1991, when it was first commercially prepared. The kombucha drink refers to a variety of preparations of fermented, lightly effervescent sweetened black or green tea drinks.
First things first. You’ll find O Organics Kombucha in the produce section in the cooler. My store had all six varieties, so I grabbed them all. I like to get Alan fun things to take to work with his lunch, so kombucha seemed like a great choice.
Check out these fun flavors, don’t they sound amazing and refreshing?
Ginger Lemon (In my store it was labeled as Gingeraide)
Pomegranate Hibiscus Lime
Raspberry Black Currant
You’ll be happy to know it’s is made with USDA Organic ingredients. Additionally, each bottle contains more than two billion probiotic organisms (!!!) as well as live kombucha cultures. In fact, one of the key health benefits of O Organics Kombucha includes digestive health from the active cultures. No GMOs, no weird ingredients you can’t pronounce, just organic goodness.
And, if you’re anything like my daughter, Quincy you’ll love that O Organics Kombucha is carbonated. She loves her “spicy” drinks and I do too! Fermented tea is definitely spicy!
Another win, aside from being delicious? It is about $1 less than other brands. Pretty awesome right?
What flavor of O Organics Kombucha are you excited to try?
