Last week we took the kids out to dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe here in Seattle. In college, I visited the Hard Rock Cafe a lot. As in if I was in a city that had a Hard Rock Cafe, I went. Back then, Hard Rock Cafe definitely had more of a bar vibe, and not some place I’d consider taking my family? But now, that vibe has changed!

Take your kids to the Hard Rock Cafe! They get to party like the ROXTARS they are! Children who dine at Hard Rock Cafes worldwide are greeted with their own Hard Rock Roxtars activity book, themed menus, guitar-shaped plates and photo opportunities! Plus, as part of The National Restaurant Association’s Kids LiveWell program in collaboration with Healthy Dining, a mission and online resource that helps parents and children alike select healthy menu options when dining out, Hard Rock Cafes worldwide will offer healthier food options, such as Skiddley’s “Not-so-diddley” chicken breast and “Twisted ‘n tasty” cavatappi pasta. In other words, meals that will make your kids happy and you feel good about what they are eating!

Introducing the Hard Rock Roxtars!

o Razzi™, “the motherly type” who is famous for squishy hugs and keyboard skills
o Sir Kingston™, a British-invasion inspired rock-and-roller on lead guitar
o Styler™, a free-spirited and accompanying guitar player
o Buddy Jr™, a wild man who loves nothing more than a good drum solo
o Skiddley™, the lead singer and “Mr. Cool” of the group

We had the best time at the Seattle Hard Rock Cafe! The staff was exceptional, the food was delicious, and most importantly, the kids had a really really good time! We took home two of the Roxtars in addition to the one that Hard Rock sent us, and the kids were just thrilled. What’s not to love, they are super cool! Now we just need to get two more of those super cool guitar plates to have at home!

Hard Rock Cafe is hosting “Does Your Child Look Like a Rock Star?” Contest to encourage guest interaction with the new Hard Rock Roxtars characters, kids menu, and merchandise!

Guests can bring their favorite pint-sized rock star dressed in their best costume to the cafe for a chance to win a Hard Rock Cafe gift card or a 2015 birthday party* for eight of the rock star’s closest band members and entourage!
