Reasons to Give the Gift of Chocolate!

This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me by Chocolat Frey. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic.
Give the gift of chocolate
I love this time of year. The holiday season is surrounded by unexpected wonder. We find reasons to perform random acts of kindness for our families, friends and neighbors. It also gives me reasons to give the gift of chocolate.

Why give the gift of chocolate?

Chocolate is good for you. In moderation of course. It’s been proven the cocoa bean contains antioxidants that are linked to lower blood pressure and a reduced risk of blood clots. It’s known to increase the levels of endorphins in the brain, and to enhance serotonin levels.

Chocolate is synonymous with decadence. It is rich, complex, and in its purest form, deliciously dark. It’s no wonder it’s the star of so many recipes, especially dessert.

Eating good chocolate helps us live longer – by giving the gift of chocolate, we engage with others emotionally. It helps us physiologically because we receive more with giving than receiving. I chose to gift Chocolat Frey to many of my neighbors, some who I only knew through our local Facebook group until I gifted them.

Aren’t these gifts I put together wonderful? The nice thing about chocolate is that’s the gift, but putting it in a pretty container or adding a bow make it that much more decadent.

Chocolate gifts

Gifting chocolate is a wonderful experience. Chocolate is one of those gifts that’s wonderfully decadent and unnecessary. It makes the person receiving it feel pampered.

Chocolate is meant to be shared. Whether it’s your neighbor, at your office, a gathering of friends or in your home, chocolate is perfect to pass around.

Giving the gift of chocolate is a wonderful way to spread the love, joy, and bliss that will always come from enjoying chocolate.

If you’re going to give the gift of chocolate this holiday, or anytime, give Chocolat Frey. My husband and I really enjoyed the Chocobloc Dark 72% Bar we tried, it was so delicious! I may have stashed away a little more to enjoy during the holidays!
