Review: Graco® Modes™ Click Connect™ Travel System with SnugRide® Click Connect 35 Infant Car Seat

I’d like to thank our friends at Graco for sending a Graco® Modes™ Click Connect™ Travel System with SnugRide® Click Connect 35 Infant Car Seat for friend and fellow blogger Leanne at Rave and Review® for her new little one. Check our her thoughts below on this new stroller and car seat system.

It’s the New Year and, like most people, my goal is to stay active. But, this year I’ve got one small little hurdle that could potentially sabotage my goal: a newborn. Granted, I’m so excited to meet my new little babe and enjoy all the snuggling, cuddling and napping that is granted to new moms and their little ones, but I just don’t want to sit all day long without moving.

Our solution? The Graco Modes Sport Click Connect Stroller Travel System that can make being on the go with little ones easier than ever. The travel system includes the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 35 Infant Car {perfect for infants 4 to 35lbs} and base as well as the Graco Modes stroller that can be configured to fit your needs from baby to toddler {up to 50lbs}.

All the awesome configurations of this stroller and car seat combo give you 10 {yes, TEN} versatile riding options that can accommodate either my newborn or my older two. All these options make this little travel system the perfect thing to keep us all moving and active throughout the entire year… and beyond!

Favorite features of the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 35:

Before we get to the travel system itself, we should go over some of the cool features of the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 35 that sold me. Starting with the front adjust harness that helps you get baby in and out and the removable infant body support that cushions baby, there are all sorts of features that add to baby and parental comfort. But, my favorite feature is the audible click system that tells you it’s installed correctly into the base, into the stroller, or into the stroller seat so you know baby is secure.

With top ratings from both reviewers as well as numerous safety tests, and side impact protection for your little one paired with EPS energy absorbing foam to help cushion baby in a collision, you can feel comfortable even on all your longer journeys with baby. We all know that an improperly installed car seat does you no good, so I love that Graco included a LATCH-equipped car base with built-in level indicator to make it easy to install correctly and level properly.

Favorite features of the Graco Modes Stroller:

Not only is this an awesome travel system stroller that pairs perfectly with the SnugRide Click Connect 35 infant car seat, it’s also a super cool stroller in its own right. It’s extremely easy to push and maneuver, it has an awesome one-handed standing fold, an extra-large basket to hold all your travel essentials, a large adjustable canopy with UV50 protection, and 4 cupholders and even a lidded parent tray for keeping necessities close by.

And, no matter what your preference for rolling, the Graco Modes stroller is sure to have you covered. You can turn your little one to face you, recline for naptime in carriage mode, and then face forward when they are ready to see the world, and you can even attach the car seat directly to the stroller frame to give you an awesome lightweight option when you don’t need the extra features.

When we’re using the stroller from home I love that short jaunts to the store or around the neighborhood call for using the stroller as an infant carriage so baby can ride completely reclined. If I throw the baby carrier in the huge under basket on the stroller just in case, it gives me options to convert the carriage to a toddler seat and let my son ride for a bit if he gets tired, which I love.

Then, when we’re using the stroller away from home, I love that I can leave baby sleeping in the Graco SnugRide Click Connect car seat and click it into the stroller. If it’s just baby and I, you simply click the seat directly the frame, or if it’s the whole crew you can click it in with the toddler seat attached in case the older kids might need to rest their legs while walking.

If baby is in the mood to be worn, I would simply wear baby in the carrier and turn the toddler seat around to push an older child in the stroller. This is going to be one of my favorite ways to roll with a newborn so I didn’t have to coax both kids along or move at a snail’s {or rather, kid’s} pace while they get distracted by every single sparkly thing they see.

And, that’s just a handful of ways we’re going to stay moving and motivated to be active throughout the New Year. All of a sudden this whole newborn thing seems very promising in keeping with my goals of getting out and exploring as a family.
