The @GracoBaby Click Connect 40 takes your baby from 4 to 40 pounds {plus a giveaway} #GracoSafety

Last Saturday I headed to the Babies R Us in Lynnwood WA to host a Graco Safety event with fellow blogger, Jess, from My Child Centered Life introducing people to the new Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40.

I admit, other than pictures, neither Jess or myself had laid eyes on the new Click Connect, so we weer a bit unsure of how we were going to demonstrate it to the shoppers at Babies R Us. We were pleasantly surprised (and a little relieved) at how intuitive the seat was, from adjusting the harness  (no annoying rethreading) to the one handed recline.  Jess kept teasing me, but one of my favorite things about the seat was the kick plate on the seat – we all know about that unruly toddler with muddy shoes – and Graco had a solution. Other features I really liked is how easily the Click Connect 40 integrated with the compatible strollers to create a travel system! Best of all? Knowing that the Click Connect 40 would keep my child safe and rear facing past the two year mark – since the seat goes to 40 pounds!

The event was originally supposed to be a sit down session with refreshments, Q&As and fun trivia! But if you’ve ever been to the Alderwood Babies R Us on a weekend, you just know that’s not going to happen! So Jess and I took another approach : educating shoppers about the brand new infant car seat from Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40. We engaged them one on one.#GracoSafety

I honestly think that being able to have one on one conversations with shoppers ended up being better. It lead to more authentic conversations and we were really able to talk to people. We met so many great moms and mom bloggers too. Including the grandmother of natural triplets that are due soon! The staff at the Babies R Us was beyond helpful and it really was a successful event!

Graco was also generous enough to provide us two new car seats to giveaway, so we made two mamas very happy!

Miss the event? We’re giving away a $25 Babies R Us eCard! Be sure to enter on the Rafflecopter form below! Open to residents of the US, void where prohibited. Please note you may only win this giveaway on one site. Thank you.

The Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way up to 40 pounds. The car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable.

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Graco. The opinions and text are all mine.
