SleepPink: Raise Awareness for Breast Cancer Research

Earlier this month I went on a business trip with some of my blogging colleagues. While it was definitely for work, we also made a tiny tiny bit of time for play. How often do you get to have sleepovers with your girlfriends once you become a grownup?

Estroven to donate money to breast cancer research

Growing up means a lot more than giving up slumber parties with my girl friends. It means grey hairs, wrinkles, and sooner than later menopause. I’m not quite there yet, but as I’m approaching 40, I know it’s coming, and I want to be ready for it.

There are currently 35 million women who have reached menopause, which constitutes one-third of the total female population of the United States. That’s quite a bit. Estroven can help.

About Estroven:Established in 1997, Estroven is the leading dietary supplement brand addressing the symptoms of menopause. Only Estroven has a full line of products that provide safe, multi-symptom menopause relief so women can feel like themselves again.*

Each product contains naturally sourced ingredients that go beyond hot flashes and night sweats to relieve another bothersome symptom, i.e., irritability, sleep, energy, memory and concentration issues and weight issues.

If you’re dealing with menopause, consider Estroven Nightime, which is available at Walgreens. Estroven Nighteimt helps you fall asleep easier and wake up refreshed and helps reduce hot flashes and night sweats, plus occasional sleeplessness. (please note this is not personal experience, but information from the brand. Consult your doctor before taking any medications)

In addition to helping with those dreaded menopause symptoms, Estroven is supporting the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, a project of the Avon Foundation for Women to support those impacted, while raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and prevention.

While breast cancer can affect women of any age, two out of three invasive breast cancers are found in women 55 or older. In fact, a woman’s risk of breast cancer triples from her thirties to her forties, and quintuples from her thirties to fifties. That’s a lot to think about, and why breast cancer research is so important.

Have a SleepPink party and raise awareness for breast cancer research

Estroven would like you to host a Pink Pajama Party for your friends. Take photos, and upload them to the Sleep Pink Facebook page. For each Sleep Pink pajama party photo submitted, Estroven will make a $250 donation to benefit the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer (one donation per photo/party.)

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Sleep Pink from the makers of Estroven. The opinions and text are all mine.
