The @Joovy moonRoom makes room for your little

3.0’s arrival is just over a month away, and we’ve been gathering things to make my life easier, especially this summer when the little is more active. It’s no question I’m a fan of Joovy, and so I jumped at the chance to check out the new playard – the Joovy moonRoom.

The moonRoom  is not the playpen my mom may have stuck me in back in the 1970’s.

The moonRoom is sleek and sassy and SPACIOUS. I didn’t have it set up in our living room for 5 minutes before our kitten, Milo decided to check it out. You can see how much room there is in it. Now, don’t worry, I promptly removed Milo so he didn’t get any ideas.

moonRoom playard

One of the things I already know will come in handy with the moonRoom is it’s so portable. It comes in a handy carry bag and sets up in minites. It’s a little on the heavy side, at 27.5 pounds, so I wouldn’t recommend checking it on an airplane (though I don’t recommend checking much on the airplane anyway) but for those weekend trips away? Pretty much perfect.  I wouldn’t recommend your little sleep in the moonRoom on a regular basis, although the mattress is nice and firm, but in  pinch, it’s better than having to borrow a crib from the hotel!

I’m thinking this new playard from Joovy is going to see some action this summer. I’ll be setting it up in the shade in the backyard for 3.0 and enjoying some time outside. I’ll know my little is safe and secure and its way better than having to schlep around a baby monitor when I’m in the yard – and safer too!

It’s way more spacious than our Joovy room -and it serves a different purpose. Plus, it allows me to have containment in different rooms in the house without having to move anything. WIN.

The Joovy moonRoom comes in 3 fabulous colors: black, charcoal and purpleness. Bonus you can buy extra sheets for it too, because invariably you’re going to need your moonRoom and the sheets wlll be covered in baby goo of some kind.

I’m excited to put the new moonRoom to good use when 3.0 arrives. I wonder how many times I will need to remind Milo it’s not for him?
