This shop about preparing for the baby blowout has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #MagicBabyMoments #CollectiveBias Even if you are a well seasoned parent, the baby blowout is always a moment you place in the far reaches of your mind. My husband has referred to it as the same place as where diapers go to die. It’s a dark dark corner. You think that because it’s already happened once, it’s not going to happen again. So you forget. And then, you are headed somewhere and it happens. The baby blowout. Suddenly, a new outfit and blanket it is needed. The car seat, somehow survived. Barely. I’ve tried to warn my fellow multi-kid parents that baby blowout reoccurrence is a very real thing and they need to be prepared. At the very least, have a clean Disney Baby onesie. Seriously. Take my friend Leanne. Her youngest daughter was born a few months ago and they are always on the go. I’m sure she’s forgotten about the horrors past and it’s only a matter of time. Her sweet little A is just waiting for that moment. And when it happens, I really want Leanne to be ready. So I made her a Baby Blowout Kit. It contains the basics of what she needs should the unfortunate happen.
A basic Baby Blowout kit includes:
An adorable Disney Baby outfit (or two) A new Disney Baby blanket Toys to distract baby Extra diapers and wipes Ziploc baggies (for those blown-out clothes) For an added bonus: a clean shirt for mom. Things happen. Very bad things. Important: Do not be tempted to put all of these things in a zippered tote. Keep them all nice an accessible in an open topped basket so things are easy to grab. The key to a good baby blowout kit is that the supplies are easily replaceable. Remember me mentioning that this sort of thing happens more than once? My favorite place to go? Walmart. Not only because of the convenience factor but they have the cutest Disney Baby items for your little ones. I hope Leanne finds her Baby Blowout Kit helpful, and in all honesty, may she never use its contents for their intended purpose. I don’t wish that on ANYONE. Yikes! I just hope she keeps it in her car she has IF she needs it.
