WellieWishers : New from American Girl!

June 23, a new collection of dolls joins the  American Girl family. WellieWishers are five inspiring characters helping kindness and friendship bloom. These adorable new dolls are for girls ages 5-7, discover the social and emotional skills they need to become empathetic, compassionate, and thoughtfully motivated individuals. In other words, a good friend.

Quincy is about to finish her first year of Kindergarten, and she’s about to celebrate her 6th birthday. I showed her the photos of the WellieWishers and I’m pretty sure she squeed. Aren’t they adorable?

Meet the WellieWishers

Meet Willa, Kendall, Ashlyn, Emerson, and Camille! — these new friends are out to make the world a kinder, friendlier place.

Now, I thought for SURE Quincy was going to fall in love with Willa. Willa loves animals and she’s wearing bunny ears. BUNNY EARS! And she has a pet rabbit named Carrot. Totally adorable.

I was wrong! When I asked Miss Q which WellieWisher she wanted to bring home, she immediately picked Ashlyn. I get it. Ashlyn is gorgeous AND she’s a party planner extraordinaire! Not to mention a princess in training. (Considering Quincy has a bit of diva in her, this is no surpise)

Cutie pie Kendall is the artist, she’s always drawing and inventing. Talented Emerson loves the spotlight – she loves to sing and dance. And sweet Camille loves the ocean and is a good listener.

WellieWishers World Doll Set-HR

I’m really excited to learn more about WellieWishers and bring one home, but I’m also really excited about the new early chapter books that will be coming in September. I can’t think of a more fun way to get Quincy excited about learning to read! And the accessories? EEK!! The playhouse, the table and chairs… THE BOOTS. Ahhhh…..

Stay tuned, we’ll definitely be sharing more WellieWishers news!

All weekend long, make sure you stop by your local American Girl store for WellieWishers fun!
