We've been back to school for about a month now, and our favorite American Girl doll friends are loving school too! Thank you to our friends at American Girl for sending us some new things for our doll's school room; it inspired us to make this cute American Girl School Craft!

One of the things we love about our American Girl dolls is pretend play. Creating a school room in Quincy's doll area seemed so obvious!

Quincy loves art, so it only made sense to make a doll sized art display for the American Girl school room. It was really easy, and all the supplies can be easily found at Target etc.

To make one for your dolls, you'll need a 12" wooden ruler, 5 miniature wooden clothes pins, some sticky velcro and a glue gun. That's it! Just those 4 things.

First, using the glue gun, carefully glue the clothes pins to the ruler. Ask an adult for help for this part, the glue gets hot!

We use sticky back velcro to mount the doll art display in Quincy's doll area, but you can use double stick tape too, we just thought this was easier.

We place the other side of the velcro on the tabs and then stuck it to the wall where we wanted it in the school area. Quincy made some doll size art work to display. Isn't it cute?

The doll art display was a fun craft to do, and looks really cute in Quincy's American Girl Doll school room. I also printed out some mini posters from the Internet to decorate it and make it look like a real classroom.

Quincy had so much fun decorating the doll sized locker - it came with some adorable accessories and of course stickers! it allowed her to personalize it and make it her own.

The American Girl school classroom is a lot of fun! Quincy and her brothers play with it often. What's not to love about it? They have so much playing with the flip-top desk. The lunch tray is really adorable too, who can resist tacos??

Everyone put on their favorite back to school outfit too! Doesn't Lea look cute in the Ready to Learn outfit?

We're already adding more things to it! We are making bookshelves and adding lights too, I think we get another desk as well. So much back to school doll fun!
