I received a gift card from Fruit of the Loom in exchange for writing this blog post. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.
Okay, so I have a confession. This post is really late. I had a serious case of the end of the summer crazies with my kids where nothing got done. I don’t get the parents that love summer vacation because I tell you what, as much as I dig my kids, I really really love when they are back in school! I shopped at Walmart for back to school goodies and awesome teacher gifts at Walmart OVER A MONTH AGO. It’s really sad. Thank goodness it’s Back to School!
But better late than never. Quincy, my daughter, started pre-k today and I’m playing massive catch up. It’s embarrassing. BUT the saving grace is that I’ve made it back to Walmart a few times since then, picking up what was needed for my non-stop growing kids! My favorite deal? Fruit of the Loom bonus packs! They come with three extra items in each package and are available in boys, girls and even in men’s and women’s for those teens who have outgrown the children sizes. All packages are available at Walmart. DEAL right?
Fruit of the Loom is a staple in our house, whether it’s back to school or not, but I really appreciate the value of the bonus packs. With last years pants too short, it’s nice to be able to pick up those bonus packs!
All that money I saved on undies? I am putting together awesome teacher gifts. I’m really fortunate that both my older kids have really awesome teachers. I love taking them goodies throughout the year, but I also like jumpstarting their school year with classroom supplies and treats.
Awesome teacher gifts include:
Art supplies: Let’s face it, markers and crayons add up. Also, they get lost, so I like to include some extras for the classroom
Cleaning supplies: Lysol wipes and tissues are a teacher’s best friend. They make for easy cleanups around the classroom.
Allergy friendly snacks: Even though notes get sent home for parents to bring in snacks, it doesn’t always happen. And sometimes the snack sent in is a box of cereal. So I send in some treats that most, if not all of the kids can enjoy.
A Starbucks card: Hey teachers need caffeine too.
