Let's be honest, all this back to school chatter has been focused on the kids. New pencils, lunch boxes and back packs. New shoes and jeans. But what about the back to school style for Mom?
Two of my most favorite brands : Lee Jeans and Dansko sent me some things to wear in Chicago while attending a blogging conference in July. I've worn them non-stop (I promise I've done laundry) since then. Both pieces are so versatile that they are going to carry themselves straight into fall. From running to the bus stop, to PTA meetings and parent-teacher conferences, shouldn't Mom look great too?
Back to School Style for Mom
It's no secret I have a thing for Dansko shoes. After all, my red patent clogs are part of my logo. Dansko graciously sent me a pair of their Jovie sandals. In red patent of course. Let me tell you, the first time I put them on it was like I'd had them for years. They're incredibly comfortable, just like my other, um, 4 pairs. These fashion forward sandals look fantastic with jeans or dresses and my favorite part? They are super easy to slip on, which makes them idea for running out to the bus stop! I think I might want them in black too!
Lee Jeans continue to be another favorite of mine, and I'm a sucker for a pair of corduroys. These Gold Label Amber Vintage Flare are hands down my go to pants when I need something a step up from denim. At the suggestion of my friend Leanne at Rave and Review, I chose a color that would normally make this mom of three cringe, and I'm so glad I did. And they're sooo comfy, the stretch in all the right places, but not too much after I've been wearing them all day. Also, a real bonus is I have a horrible time finding pants that not only fit me in the waist and the length and these are spot on.
Of course, every stylish breastfeeding mom needs a cute fashion forward nursing top, and I love this chevron nursing top from Japanese Weekend that I ordered off Amazon. It complements the Lees so well and even ties in the gorgeous red of the Dansko Jovies.
So there you have it, how I will be the cool dressed mom in the pickup line at school. I just hope I look better than the selfies I took with my camera and timer. 🙂 I'm working on that part.
What's your back to school style for Mom?
Disclosure: I was provided Media Samples from Dansko and Lee Jeans and am re-featuring them in this post. All opinions and fashion sense is my own.

I don't really have a back-to-school style, I guess. Normally I'm wearing jeans, a tee, and flip-flops 😀 I haven't tried those Dansko sandals, but I totally love my Dansko sneakers.

Dansko are my favorites too, they are so very comfortable and I am on my feet all day. I love the jeans you have on, I will be hitting google to find a pair as soon as I am done typing. Have a great day and thank you for the heads up on the Lee's.
