My kids love their tablets and they love tech. There’s a new app called HomeTeam by Panasonic allows us to easily connect with one another, whether it’s through reading books, playing games, or just video chatting with their grandparents.
My kids primarily use their tablets for watching movies and playing games. What I love about HomeTeam is that it has a fabulous library of books that we can read together, and fun games to play with each other. My kids love the vast collection of Disney stories and I like that there are old favorites too.
Something else that’s really special about HomeTeam is their unlimited video chat. Their grandparents are on the other side of the country, and I’m excited to get them connected with HomeTeam to take the video to the next level. HomeTeam doesn’t use confusing technology, making it perfect for grandparent interactions.
The unlimited video chat of HomeTeam can be accessed at no cost, along with a few books and games. However, if you want to be able to see their entire library and collection of games, you must have a premium membership.
The Premium Membership continues full, uninterrupted access to HomeTeam eBooks, games and video chat on a subscription basis, with a choice of Monthly or Annual payment plans. The Premium Membership subscription fee is $8.99 per month, or a single annual payment of $89.99. A Premium membership covers 5 family members.
The engaging HomeTeam app is supported on iOS and Android tablet devices, as well as Mac/Windows PCs and laptops via Chrome or Firefox browsers. The App is not available yet on Microsoft tablets and it doesn’t work with Amazon Kindle. Smartphone use is not recommended.
The holidays are coming and it’s about to get even busier at home. If you’re far away from your kids grandparents or just looking to make tech time family time, check out HomeTeam.
