Are you and your kids familiar with the Wimpy Kid series? Get ready for a whole new look into Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid world!
My awesome friendly kid, Quincy, is reading a new book: Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid: Rowley Jefferson’s Journal. This new book is a spin-off of the massively popular and bestselling Wimpy Kid series.
You’re probably already a fan of the Wimpy Kid world, so you’ll love this story told by Rowley Jefferson. Rowley exhibits the characteristics of an awesome, friendly kid through his positive outlook, enthusiasm, and kindness.
These are characteristics I am glad Quincy has and what we want all of our kids to have. Quincy is an awesome kid. She’s fun and creative. She loves art, cats and movies. She’s a fantastic big sister and loves hanging out with her little brother. She even likes being with him when he copies her. Mostly.
Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid: Rowley Jefferson’s Journal is a fun and engaging story that my kids (and I) really enjoyed. I love that they can read it to each other and relate to it too.
About Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid: Rowley Jefferson’s Journal.
Introducing the newest Wimpy Kid author—Rowley Jefferson! Rowley’s best friend Greg Heffley has been chronicling his middle-school years in thirteen Diary of a Wimpy Kid journals . . . and counting. But it’s finally time for readers to hear directly from Rowley in a journal of his own. In Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid, Rowley writes about his experiences and agrees to play the role of biographer for Greg along the way. (After all, one day Greg will be rich and famous, and everyone will want to know his life’s story.) But Rowley is a poor choice for the job, and his “biography” of Greg is a hilarious mess.

The Wimpy Kid series is so much fun, and so absolutely relatable for boys and girls alike! My kids have a tradition of picking up the new Wimpy Kid books at our school book fair each November.
