I love Chex mix. LOVE it. So when I found myself with GIANT BAG OF CANDY CORN, I thought it was the perfect excuse to make some Halloween Cereal Mix. This is a great recipe for kids to help with, and easy to make in large batches!

halloween pumpkins and a bowl of candy corn chex mixEasy Halloween Cereal Mix

    Ingredients
    2 cups Rice Chex
    2 cups Corn Chex
    1 cup pretzels
    1 cup candy corn
    ½ cup crasins
¼ cup of candy decors, the super cute Halloween ones
    1 stick butter
    ½ cup brown sugar

    Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter on stovetop or microwave and add in brown sugar and combine. Toss with cereal and pretzels and cereal in a largish baking pan. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes, then add in the remaining ingredients, stirring to insure it is all well mixed and coated well.

    ENJOY!

Brecken has been asking about candy corn for the past two weeks! I'm going to compromise and make this for her. She'll love it!

Love this twist on the classic chex mix. It has just the right blend of crunchy, sweet, salty. I will let you know how the kids like it.
