I actually had my act together for Valentine's Day this year. Well, kinda. I made these easy Valentine's Day printable Valentine's tonight for my kids to take to their respective parties tomorrow and Friday. My HP Printer and a trip to Target and the Dollar Tree and I was in business.
Frozen is all the rage right now (duh) and is probably my daughter's favorite movie. This first Valentine is a spin on a kid's Christmas card I've seen but with a Disney twist. I found some Frozen graphics online and with the magic of PicMonkey I put together a little "Do You Want to Build a Snowman Kit"
In the kit is 3 different sized marshmallows, some stick pretzels, mini and regular size chocolate chips and a watermelon slice cut in half for a nose. Not the ideal choice for a nose, but it's not easy to find candy corn this time of year and the orange slices were all the wrong size!
If you click on the image, you'll find the template so you can customize it for your own child. I just ask that if you Pin this, you kindly link MY personalized image and not the direct link to the template. 🙂 Or I'll just delete the link, and no one wants that. The template does NOT have the kit contents, as I realize that may vary.
Who doesn't love Cars? It's been my son's favorite since the second movie came out several years ago. I've seen similar Valentine's Day printables that say "I Wheelie Like You" but I thought I'd do something different with this one. I got the cars at the Dollar Tree, they were 4 for $1. Deal, right? I'll write my son's classmate's names in the hearts.
Both templates print 4 to a page, and I used ziploc sandwich bags for the treats, and then stapled the paper to the opening. Super easy.
Sure, these cost a little more than the boxes of Valentines's with tattoos and stickers, but if you want to kick it up a notch, it's not too late!

Neither of my kids are in school, but I am loving these printables. I've always thought that homemade and DIY gifts were more sincere and have a little bit more sentimental value to them. Thanks for sharing.

Those are actually really cool ideas. I like the pun on "tire" with the little car. Oh the things you do if you have kids heh.
