With Sebby, we used to rely on the library for “new to him” movies and shows. Now, thanks to the amazing choices of entertainment for kids: children’s movies, television and more available on Comcast Xfinity we don’t have to worry about late fees. Even better is that we can watch these shows on the go on an iPad or iPhone – not that we don’t watch lots of shows on our TV too.
Entertainment for Kids made easy with Xfinity TV
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been asked to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, My Little Pony, Little Einstiens or even full length movies like Curious George 2 or Beethovens 4th (and 5th). Full length movies on Streampix are a life saver. Especially because sometimes I need something to occupy Sebby and Quincy while I am taking care of Edison.
There are endless choices. Over 1000 endless choices of entertainment for kids. Even better? You can download many of them so you have kid-friendly content to go on road trips thanks to the Xfinity App. Most of our “road trips” are just to friends houses, but I love that I can download a few shows for them on the iPad and know they’ll be occupied with their favorites.
I also found that the Xfinity TV Player app is great entertainment for kids during bedtime routines. Okay, so I KNOW what people say about screentime, but letting Quincy watch a half an episode of Little Einsteins so I can get her older brother to bed? Not a bad thing at all. It’s one of her favorites! Also, since we’ve done it at home, it becomes familiar when we travel, another win.
We’re hoping to take a train trip this fall, and with the downloadable entertainment for kids through the Xfinity App on the iPads? A stress-free train trip awaits us! Hooray!
Do you have the app? You can learn how to download content with the Xfinity TV Player App and make your next family vacation or trip to grandmas more enjoyable.
Worried about “adult content” ? It’d be easy to say that I can just start a show and know it’s all good – but if you’ve ever given a kid a tablet you know how fast they are, and how easily they can navigate through. Luckily, the Xfinity parental controls are easy to set devices so I don’t have to worry about them going from Elmo to Game of Thrones if I step out of the room or if I’m driving and can’t see what they are doing. (Note that you should not use an iPad in a moving car because it can become a projectile)
What do you use for entertainment for kids?
