Family time. It’s important. Sometimes we load up in the van and go for a drive around Lake Chuckanut and finish off with a dinner at our favorite burger place. Other times we watch movies and pile on the couch. But last week we had family time with our favorite superheroes.
With the release of Disney Infinity 2.0 this past Tuesday, we’ve been enjoying the game. In fact, we used it as an excuse to invite some friends over to play. We haven’t seen our friends Leanne, Tyler and their kids all summer! We got the new Disney Infinity 2.0 all set up, and I even went about bought some new figures for game so we could play beyond the starter pack.
and we had the BEST time!
With any good party comes food, so we ordered some take and bake pizza for dinner. For treats, I borrowed some recipes from the Captain America party I had this summer. It’s hard to go wrong with Rice Krispie treats, right? Especially if they are inspired by Captain America with blue and red M&M’s® (that I totally handpicked out)
You’d think the kids would be the ones super excited about playing Disney Infinity 2.0 featuring MARVEL heroes. And they were. Both Q and L were happily strutting around the living room saying “I am Groot!” or giving their best Venom impression.
But the biggest kids were Alan and Tyler.
While Leanne and I caught up on life in general, the kids played together and Alan and Tyler? Well… they embraced their inner child. They had so much fun – Leanne and I had to tell them it was bedtime, with promises of being able to get together to play again soon. Aside from telling them it was bedtime, the other disappointment? Not being able to find my Captain America tattoos!!
Confession: After our playdate with our friends I may or may not have gone out and bought MORE Disney Infinity 2.0 figures.
I’d love for you to create your own moments with your family (and dear friends) and have fun with your favorite super heroes. You can pick up Disney Infinity 2.0 featuring MARVEL heroes at Walmart or Walmart.com
