You’d think the lover of trains in our house would be Sebby right? And it was, for a few years, but then he abandoned all things little engine that could for cars. However, his younger siblings discovered trains when they sent the kids a few Chuggington train sets to play with.
The folks behind Chuggington were kind enough to send us several sets so we can build a the Ice Storm in Chuggington Megabuild. It’s gonna be awesome. We’re just getting into the trains so we haven’t built our empire yet – right now I’m not sure our little train table can handle it either – so I’m gonna need to figure something out.
Quincy had a blast with the trains.
Setting up the Chuggington sets is definitely a family activity. I had a tiny bit of trouble understanding the directions, and actually had better luck looking at the photo on the box and putting the pieces together that way. That being said, the pieces went together very easily. Quincy, my almost 4 year old could snap the track together with only a little bit of help.
Now that we’ve mastered the first set, it’s time to build it out – it’s going to be awesome and I know my kids are going to have a blast. Who knows, maybe we will even rope Sebby back in with our friend Chugginton train!
Chuggington Megabuild
This cool blue combo uses two icy Chuggington StackTrack playsets and the Stone Quarry set. You and your child will have a blast imagining new stories with the blue track and icy accessories. Double ascending track pieces (from the Stone Quarry set) create super steep drops, adding speed and action to this twisty Megabuild. If you don’t have all 3 of these playsets, you can swap in pieces from other sets (visit the Building Tips tab for a guide to this). Chuggington StackTrack sets feature world-record-setting track that is engineered for stability with sturdy connections, letting you build elevated layouts like never before.
This Megabuild is rated Skill Level “Master,” so roll up your sleeves and get ready for a StackTrack challenge! You and your kids will have a great time building this complex track for Wilson, Brewster, Koko and their other Chugger friends.

The Verdict? We are fans. Quincy and Edison love the trains so this mama needs to clear out the living room and spend a few hours building. It will be worth it!

What a fun Chuggington Train. My friends son has been obsessed with chuggington since he could talk. I think Choo-Choo was one of his first 10 words.

What a cute set! My little boy loves track sets like this, but unfortunately, his little sister is quick to destroy like a mini Godzilla. 🙂 Great photos!
