Thanks to Foster Farms for sponsoring this post on my college football fandom and great snacks from Foster Farms. As if this week wasn’t busy enough with preparing Thanksgiving dinner, putting up the Christmas tree and a bajillion blog projects (totally a bajillion) the big game, BIG game of the Ohio State college football season is THIS SATURDAY. You know, the game where we play that team up North. I’ll be watching, and snacking of course. Our favorite game day snacks in this house are from Foster Farms.
Since I have little time to spare this week, I know I can count on Foster Farms to have me covered. Whether it’s wings, nuggets and corn dogs there’s always something for all of us to enjoy! Plus Foster Farms Chicken breast tenders with salt and pepper, skewered and grilled to perfection with dipping sauces make the best game day snack! If your game day prep includes sandwiches, Foster Farms sliced turkey goes great for those game time hoagies and sandwiches.
The LAST thing I want to worry about this week is preparing yummy snacks for watching the Buckeyes play the team up north. I’ll let you in on a secret. Your counter top grill is your BFF during football season. Before kickoff, marinate some Foster Farms chicken tenders, or breasts cut into strips with olive oil, salt and pepper. Then, at half time, toss them on your grill for about 10-12 minutes. No turning needed because you’re grilling both sides at the same time. The result? Chicken skewers grilled to perfection. Serve them with Foster Farms Mini Corn Dogs and Chicken Nuggets. Don’t forget your favorite dipping sauces!
Looks amazing right? There’s no need to sacrifice your fandom by missing a touchdown because you’re spending too much time in the kitchen making your game day snack food.
I find all of my Foster Farms products at my local grocery store. Hint: Sometimes you have to look in two different places in the freezer section to find the snacks and chicken!
Starting December 1st at participating supermarkets be on the look out to find a code to scan on specially-marked Foster Farms packages of fresh chicken, and on signs in the frozen food aisle that will connect to up to $7.50 in savings. Plus Foster Farms will be offering great game day recipes on the packages and online too.
Feed Your Fandom this college football season with Foster Farms, and don’t forget to watch the exciting year-end action when the Pac-12 battles the Big 10 in the Foster Farms Bowl airing on Fox Sports on December 27th.
