Thank you to Northgate Mall for inviting my family to be your guest at Caring Santa and giving us a gift card towards our photo package!
One of the challenges as a parent of a special needs child is that the little things so many families take for granted don’t come easy for us. Things like visiting Santa. I’m not talking about the crying photos that everyone shares on social media. I’m talking about getting overwhelmed waiting in line and all the chaos and noise that comes with it. We’ve tried the typical Santa experience and typically we’ve crashed and burned. It’s not pretty. Autism is no picnic.
I can’t tell you how excited I am that THIS YEAR, Sebby and his siblings, Quincy and Edison will be paying a visit to the head elf when he visits our very own Northgate Mall. Familiarity. Quiet.
