I have a nickname you might not know about. In some circles, I'm known as the COOKIE PIMP. Yes.My cookies are the bomb diggity. Back when my husband worked for Expedia he used to have me bake cookies as bribes for the Dev team.  It was quite effective. So when I have the chance to try some new dark chocolate recipes, especially if they involve cookies, you know I am going to be all over that. I was pretending to be healthy this weekend, so I whipped up a new version of my favorite oatmeal walnut cookies. But this time, I added chocolate.

But not in the form of chips.

Come on now, that would be too obvious and so not worthy of the cookie pimp.

Instead, when I pulled the chewy oatmeal walnut goodness out of the oven, I put a Dove® Fruit - Whole Cranberry (more on that in a bit) on top. You see where I am going here right? Chocogasm. Yeah. I said it. I took the Cookie Pimp to a whole new level.

Now, like any good cookie pimp, i tested my oatmeal walnut cookies with their little bit of dark chocolate happiness. I was quite happy with the result. Of course this meant I had to share - isn't that what you are supposed to do with cookies? Especially amazing dark chocolate recipes?

After eating a few cookies, I boxed some up for my neighbors.I still found myself surrounded by cookies. Too many cookies. So I shared the love with my local Buy Nothing group. There's a reason they call me the cookie pimp.HA!

In order to create your own oatmeal walnut cookies with their delicious Dove® Fruit - Whole Cranberry goodness, you're going to need to head over to your local Sam's Club. Here's the thing though, don't delay, because they won't be there forever. You'll also be happy to know that Dove®Cherry will be released later this fall, and I'm sure that would taste pretty amazing with the oatmeal walnut cookies as well. And the best part? Dove® Fruit is real fruit dipped in dark chocolate which is a snack option that is “better for you”!

I love dark chocolate. It is so good and I am the only one in the family that really likes it so these would be all mine. This looks so good!

OH my gosh. Oatmeal cookies are my absolute FAVORITE type of cookies. The addition of this little nugget? I'm drooling over here. And doubly ticked they didn't get sent to Florida. I'm sure a little mold never hurt anyone! #client

These do sound good!!! And I'd love to try! I didn't realize you have chickens, how I miss getting our eggs from our chickens, and spoiling them, too. I'll have to settle for making these with store bought eggs!
