All of the sudden, I have 3 teenagers in the house. I’m not sure when that happened, but here we are. The challenge is everyone has different tastes, and sometimes we can’t always agree on mealtime. Especially with the challenges of Autism and “picky” eaters. I confess I sometimes find myself cooking more than one meal. On busy nights, that’s not always practical.

Popcorn Shrimp for Dinner
For the past few years though, there is one surefire win. With three hungry teens and hectic schedules, meal time can be crazy. SeaPak Popcorn Shrimp is a freezer staple in our house know when my kids come home from school and ask what's for dinner, If I reply “Popcorn Shrimp,” I’ll hear cheers. It’s an easy protein that everyone loves.
The kids love popcorn shrimp because it’s crispy on the outside and has yummy shrimp on the inside. The shrimp are perfectly bite size and fun to dip.
I love how effortless prep is. A family size box cooks in less than 15 minutes once the oven has preheated. That makes it the ideal protein for a busy school night. We keep it simple: shrimp and dip. That’s it. Fresh flavor means no extras, and who has the time anyway!
Since everyone in our household loves SeaPak Popcorn Shrimp, I only have to prepare ONE thing for dinner, and that’s a huge win for me. Some cocktail sauce, homemade bang bang sauce and butter lettuce is all I need to make the family happy.

The kids typically dip the shrimp until it’s gone, with the occasional taco, which means my husband and I better make our lettuce wraps fast, or I’ll have to bake another box. This has definitely happened in this house.

While I’ve recently been preparing our SeaPak Popcorn Shrimp in the oven, it’s quick and easy, it’s delicious in the airfryer too, and to be honest, our preferred method – unfortunately our airfryer stopped working last fall. Sadness.
