Last week I attended two (!) red carpet premieres thanks to Disney. Attending two premieres meant I had to find some killer dresses. With three kids, that meant starting my search on the Internet.
Now, I’d had success with ModCloth in the past, so I tried my luck with them again for my red carpet fashion. And I was successful. Now you should know, I paid for my dresses myself, but any links to ModCloth are affiliate links, where I make a small commission from your purchase. So thank you for shopping!
My focus was to find two dresses that were red carpet worthy, that I could still wear afterwards – I had to be a little practical, right? Here’s the an adorable black dress I found, classic a-line, great detailing and wait for it… pockets! YES!
Then, I found this fun striped party dress. Off the shoulder, flirty and lots of fun. I paired it with a cute shrug I got from JCPenney’s. And that’s another thing – go check out JcPenney’s for your party jewelry – they have some really nice, affordable pieces!
How does a girl wrap up the perfect red carpet fashion? Well, shoes of course! I found these adorable and comfy red patent pumps at DSW.
The best part? How affordable everything was! The dresses were both under $100 each and the red heels were $40. Even the jewelry I found at JC Penney’s and Target were great prices. See, red carpet looks don’t have to be thousands of dollars. I promise.

I love your dress, I have always been afraid to wear horizontal stripes, you look stunning. Maybe I will give it a try I know my little one will be honest if it looks “icky” lol. DSW is my favorite store, I could spend hours in shoe lovers heaven.

Wow, I can’t believe those dresses were under $100. I just love both of them! Going to a Disney Premiere must have been a blast!
