Earlier this week, I stopped by Sam’s Club for some of their delicious Artisan Fresh Cinnamon Roll’s and a bag of Starbucks Limited Edition Holiday Blend bagged coffee. Apparently EVERYONE had the same idea I had because the coffee was nearly gone! I picked up a pack of Artisan Fresh Cinnamon Rolls too, which are made right at Sam’s Club in their bakery. Sounds like a #DeliciousPairing, right?
While I’m a frequenter of Starbucks, I don’t buy their coffee for home very often. I find their traditional blends just “okay” But I heard good things about the Holiday Blend, so I was willing to give it a try.To say I was pleasantly surprised was an understatement. The Holiday Blend had such a smooth flavor – it was delicious. I fully admit to doctoring my coffee with some half and half and some sweetener. This girl does NOT do black coffee. No way! 🙂
And then I took a bite of one of those Artisan Cinnamon Rolls. BAM! Nom nom nom. The cinnamon rolls paired so nicely with the ginger, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange and cloves in the Holiday Blends. They were clearly a perfect match!
So of course, I had to share with some friends.
Since it’s the holidays, we all have such a hectic schedule a few of us got together in between preschool drop-offs and pick-ups. It get’s so crazy and coffee and cinnamon rolls seemed like the perfect break. I added some treats for the little ones joining us and we were ready to go!
Everyone was pleasantly surprised as how delicious the Starbuck’s Holiday Blend was. I warmed the cinnamon rolls up in the oven too – and they were perfect! My one friend even said that the holiday blends at Starbucks were her husband’s favorite.
There’s nothing quite like a cup of Holiday Blend coffee to warm your hands.
Lucky for my dear husband, we didn’t eat ALL of those amazing cinnamon rolls, so we had a special treat for dessert last night. He was also pleasantly surprised with how smooth the coffee was and how nicely it paired with the cinnamon rolls.
Seems I now have my go to Holiday Breakfast treat!
How do you pair your Starbucks Coffee?
