Must have school supplies for teachers
Pencils
Pencils are a necessity in every elementary classroom. It's important to keep a supply of sharpened pencils on hand, because your students will need them. My personal favorite pencils are Ticonderoga, which you can even buy pre-sharpened pencils.
Pencil Sharpener
While you've stocked your pencils, you are going to need to have a good pencil sharpener on hand too. I think it's good to have an electric pencil sharpener. It may be a bigger investment, but it's an important classroom supply. Buy an efficient and reliable pencil sharpener for your student's classroom.
Dry Erase Markers
Dry erase markers are a must in classrooms. Expo Dry Erase Markers are used by both teachers and students. They are helpful both on the large classroom boards for lessons, as well as the individual lapboards used by students. Teachers can alway use dry erase markers and will love you if you send them extra! Bonus points if you send the low odor variety.

Dry erase boards for each student are a great thing to have. Whether playing math games or doing quick spelling checks, they are useful for nearly every subject. Plus, using individual dry erase boards cuts down on wasting paper. An amazing gift for your favorite teacher or child's school is to give them a bundle of individual dry erase boards.
Crayons and markers
Different teachers prefer different types of colored writing pencils, pens, crayons, and markers. My personal favorite to send in to the classroom are Crayola brand crayons and markers. Over the years they are always the most requested brand. Hint: I've heard teachers prefer the 16 pack of Crayola Crayons over the 24 pack because there is less color confusion for younger children when picking colors like red or blue! Ask your teacher!
Paper
You might grumble when you see a ream of paper on your school supply list, but teachers go through A LOT of paper.
Extra composition notebooks, construction paper and drawing paper are also great donations to your student's classroom. Check with your student's teacher to see if what types of paper supplies are most needed by them.
