The Vets Review (At Home Pet Care)

Is your pet not a fan of the vet? Do you wish there was an alternative to going to the vet office? I’m happy to say, and so are my cats, that there is an at-home vet service that is purrfect for our family. Thanks to MomsMeet and TheVets.com, we got to experience a mobile vet visit to share our opinions, and it’s a game changer.

At Home Pet Care

At home pet care reduces unnecessary stress on your pets. No more car rides, which make my cats Nixie and Hugo so happy. The elimination of waiting rooms is a huge plus, there always seemed to be a nosy dog wanting to see inside of the cat carriers. That was never fun and super stressful for the cats. The traditional exam room is traded for your home which meant Nixie and Hugo were much more comfortable during their wellness exams. I also got more one on one time with qualified veterinarians and veterinarian technicians than I have in a long time. For the past few years I’ve only been able to drop my cats off curbside for appointments and had very little one on one time with their vets, if any, so this is a real benefit for me.

The Best Veterinarians

On average, the veterinarians at TheVets.com have over ten years of experience. The team that took care of Nixie and Hugo this week were very knowledgeable. They were both skilled at keeping my cats calm, and even brought treats, which Hugo loved! (it should be noted to, that they ASKED PERMISSION before offering treats!

Nixie was a little spicy during the visit, which is totally normal for her, but by the end of this visit, she and Morgan, our vet tech, were best friends.

Personalized vet experience

TheVets.com is a personalized experience. I worked with booking agent to find an appointment that best fit my needs. My cats vet team carefully reviewed their previous vet records to give us a personalized medical experience. This was really important to me, as both Nixie and Hugo have prior medical conditions that needed to be addressed and I didn’t have to spend a lot of our appointment time explaining because they already knew my cats history.

Veterinarians supporting pet owners

One of the things I really liked about our team from theVets.com was their focus on client education. We talked about Nixie and Hugo’s medical history and the best way for me to support them. They even gave tips on how to give Nixie her daily eye drops and I was able to get her prescription filled on the spot since they already knew her health background.

The Vets are able to help with day to day care and most sick visits, and in case of an emergency they will explain what to do. Nixie needs a little more medical attention than they can give us in my home, but getting a referral was easy.
