Maven - Blog Disclosure - FTC In this day and age, you'd think that that all the ways to brew coffee had been found. I know my husband and I did. Then we brewed our coffee in the iCoffee by Remington.

All the ways we thought we knew how to brew coffee: boiling, pressure, filter and steep, just a few of the about twenty ways to brew coffee, and they were all wrong. See, the iCoffee is a STEAM BREW. I'll admit, I was like what? Steam brew? Huh? How does that even make sense. But it does. It takes the same coffee that tastes bitter in my drip machine and it makes it smooth. How does it do this? By aerating the grounds - which creates this incredible taste.

Ways to Brew Coffee - iCoffee - The Maven of Social Media®

Now before you say, oh but Kerri, you probably used expensive whole bean coffee that you ground yourself before brewing and that's why it tastes so good. Not really. I bought a $10 bag of coffee at Safeway, and while I did grind my beans myself, they weren't expensive. In fact, the brand I bought usually tastes pretty bitter and this was not the case with the iCoffee.  The steam brew technology really made a huge difference. I'm not a huge coffee person, but the iCoffee? It makes REALLY good coffee.

two mugs Check out my own iCoffee in action - it even plays music (that can be turned off) when it starts and stops so you know your coffee is ready to go! We've been using the iCoffee for awhile now, and we just love it. It's still in the early stages, so it's not available to the mainstream media. I highly suggest you check out the iCoffee funding project and express interest that they start it back up again - because this coffee maker is full of awesome.

I'd like to thank the folks at iCoffee for sending a media sample for my family to try out before the have been released to the general public. It really has changed the way we enjoy coffee.

This is super cool. I am so picky about my coffee and I like it strong but not over powering. I just have a hard time paying a arm and a leg for coffee beans. I hope they are released to the general public soon.

I have never heard of this before and goodness knows I read a ton of reviews. I think steaming would make sense - thanks for the great review and video!
