Maven - Blog Disclosure - FTC
I've wanted an immersion blender for over a year thanks to my friend Angela. She swears by hers so I was always so jealous of it. They sound so versatile and fabulous.

    MiTutto

I've been using one for the past month or so and I'll be honest, I don't remember my life in the kitchen before the blender. Okay, well, I DO, but I am pretty sure this new blender is my new favorite do-it-all kitchen gadget. Let me tell you, there are so many uses for an immersion blender.

    The Maven - MiTutto

The MiTutto Immersion Blender by Miallegro is an amazing kitchen tool. It's sleek and compact design is perfect for my kitchen. With it's 500w of power and can easily blend, whip, grind, puree, beat, and mince just about anything.

And it does. With 5 speeds and several attachments, including a chopping bowl and a tall cup, it's a flexible and functional kitchen tool.

With the help of my MiTutto I finally was able to replicate an amazing roasted pepper soup I had a cooking class this past spring. It did a decent job, the celery was still a bit stringy, but I don't know if that's the blender or user error. I'll have to keep experimenting with it. Maybe I'll try some pumpkin soup soon!

I've also made pesto, attempted smoothies and even pureed homemade baby food!

The MiTutto comes with a nice long cord that allows me to use it right on the stove, in the soup pot. No more scary trying to pour steaming soup in a blender for me. And trust me, the MiTutto is so much easier to clean. I can even put the blender attachment in the dishwasher (once I get one, ha!)

Now, I will say that I haven't had much luck with smoothies and ice, and maybe it's just a matter of technique, but hey, at the very least - blending soup right in the pot? That alone is full of win. It's probably my favorite thing about it and what it will get used for the most. Well, and the pesto. Mmm PESTO!

I'm so excited this professional immersion blender has come to live at my house - with the holiday season coming up I know it's going to get used all the time! Mashed potatoes, gravies, whipped creams. Ohhhh.

I really want an immersion blender for making soups and pestos. So much easier than lugging out my food processor.

I've been coveting an immersion blender as well. The ability to blend soups in the pot beats using a regular blender any day.

The Immersion Blender sounds like a perfect kitchen tool. I like that you can do so many things with it. and the best for me is that you can use right in the pot of soup.

I use mine for soups and mashed potatoes mostly. I have a separate one for use to saponify soap batter. Have you tried using it with your smoothies with crushed ice instead of cubed? It might make all the difference.

I've always wanted one of these. Mainly because it's easier to clean than a normal blender.
