If you asked Nixie or Milo, they would insist up and down that they are not spoiled cats. I certainly beg to differ, because if they weren't, it'd be a lot harder me to tell you about all the ways to spoil your cat, from making your own cat toys, to buying them natural cat food to building them their very own cat porch. Yes, my cats have a catio.
Let's talk about cat toys for a moment. I give them to my cats, get played with, and then disappear into the abyss. If you have a cat, have you ever thought to check underneath the stove in your kitchen? I remember a time in college I was cleaning and came across a whole colony of toy mice. No kidding - it was like a mouse party. At least 15 toy mice, hair bands and milk rings were underneath my stove. You'd think that keep me from spoiling my cats with toys. It doesn't.
I'm also going to let you in on a secret. While it's easy to pick up fancy cat toys when I'm buying Wellness® Complete Health™ at Petsmart, my cats love their homemade cat toys. Nixie will even carry around half of a plastic Easter egg like it's a prized possession (and that's because it is.) And boxes? If you're a cat owner, you already know about cats and boxes.
Cat toys, sun spots, and custom built catios are all wonderful, but one of the best ways to spoil your cat is to feed them Wellness Natural Pet Food. A few weeks ago, I talked about pet food storage tips and how I feed Nixie and Milo Wellness Cat Food as part of their Grain Free Complete Health.
Why should you buy Wellness to spoil your cat?
First off because it makes them happy. To say my cats look forward to dinnertime is an understatement. Giving them a cat food with better nutrition is one of the best things I can do for Nixie and Milo.
