Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
Now, I use a (affiliate) KitchenAid Stand Mixer, but you can do this by hand too. Combine your bananas, eggs and oil in your mixing bowl.
In a large bowl, stir together dry ingredients (except the walnuts and chocolate chips). Slowly add the dry mixture to your wet mixture.
Once combined add the walnuts and chocolate chips. Mix until just blended then pour into your prepared pan.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool for about 5 minutes before removing from the pan. Then, let your oatmeal chocolate chip banana bread sit on cooling rack for another 10 minutes before slicing.
