Grilled Pigs in a Blanket.

  • A pack of your favorite hot dogs.
  • Your favorite cheese sliced into thin pieces
  • Refrigerated crescent rolls


  • Heat gas grill for indirect cooking over medium heat.
  • Cut a slit in each hot dog to within 1/2 inch of each edge.
  • Insert strips of cheese into each slit.
  • Wrap 1 dough triangle around each hot dog.
  •  Put your pigs in a blanket on double thickness of heavy-duty foil sprayed with cooking spray, about 2 inches apart. Place heavy duty aluminum foil on grill over indirect heat and cover.
  •  Cook 12 to 15 minutes.


A low heat and a slow cook is better than a high heat because you risk burning your pigs in a blanket on the grill.
