Grilled Pigs in a Blanket.
A pack of your favorite hot dogs.
Your favorite cheese
sliced into thin pieces
Refrigerated crescent rolls
Heat gas grill for indirect cooking over medium heat.
Cut a slit in each hot dog to within 1/2 inch of each edge.
Insert strips of cheese into each slit.
Wrap 1 dough triangle around each hot dog.
Put your pigs in a blanket on double thickness of heavy-duty foil sprayed with cooking spray, about 2 inches apart. Place heavy duty aluminum foil on grill over indirect heat and cover.
Cook 12 to 15 minutes.
A low heat and a slow cook is better than a high heat because you risk burning your pigs in a blanket on the grill.
