    Celebrate Independence Day with these 4th of July Ideas

    There are so many ways to celebrate the 4th of July! Whether it's a simple family gathering or a full blown block party with the neighborhood, there is something for everyone. Celebrating our country's independence does not have to cost a lot of money, and you'll find many of these ideas will fit neatly in your budget!

    Don't miss these 4th of July ideas for your family and friends. From crafts, recipes, and ways to celebrate.

    Do a holiday-themed DIY project

    Get your kids to deck out your home in red, white and blue with one of these 4th of July projects.

    Make your own patriotic wreath and put the store bought ones to shame.

    Kids will love making patriotic slime, and it's a great outdoor activity too!

    Embellish a basic white t-shirt and upcycle it into a DIY 4th of July T-Shirt. You probably everything you need to make this shirt in just a few hours.

    Have a Red, White and Blue Water Balloon Fight

    Water balloon fights can be lots of fun on a hot summer day. Whether you have organized teams or a free for all, a water ballon fight is a great way to make a splash. Remember to pick up broken balloon pieces after the fight. You can pick up a pack of red, white and blue Bunch O Balloons for extra fun.

    It isn't a 4th of July celebration without fireworks! Skip the fireworks at home (many cities and municipalities ban them anyway) Watch the sky light up with the entire family by attending a local fireworks show.

    Enjoy the time at home celebrating your favorite traditions, but after the sun goes down, consider getting a projector and watch a movie outside.

    Pop some popcorn, make some s’mores, and invite the neighbors over to join you. These family-friendly summer films are perfect for the Fourth!
