We tend to eat out as a family a few times a month, but right now that isn’t an option. So we’ve changed gears and are planning at home family date nights! It’s a great way to stay at home, enjoy a delicious meal and still spend time together as a family.
Easy family date night
Now, I love to cook, but family date night is all about EASY. Who wants to spend a bunch of time cooking when there are movies to watch? Not me! One of our go-to brands is Tai Pei®. One of the challenges with my family is everyone has their opinions on what they want for dinner. Tai Pei® has delicious flavors with lots of choices for everyone. No judgement if you eat them out of the containers at all! I also love that my husband Alan can easily take them to work for lunch, the containers are typically a generous serving for one.
My 9-year-old daughter, Quincy, is insistent on eating her Tai Pei® with chopsticks, she’s actually quite a pro. I know using chopsticks can be challenging for some, especially if you don’t use them all the time, so I hope this helps!
Do you know how to use chopsticks?
1. Rest the bottom chopstick in the “valley” between your thumb and index finger, and across the side of your ring finger.
2. Hold the top chopstick like a pencil. Use a light grip between the pad of your thumb and your middle and index finger.
3. The bottom chopstick stays still, moving the top chopstick like tongs to pick up food.
